Best Valentine’s Day Prix-Fixe Menus

The day we either love to love or hate to hate. Regardless of your feelings towards Valentine’s Day, I think we can all come to the consecutive decision that you should indulge on this day. We did some investigative work to find the best pre-fixe menus in Los Angeles for you to ball out on this Valentine’s Day.

Le Petit Paris

Downtown LA

One of the most beautifully decorated, elegant, and magical places. Located right inside the El Dorado Building, Le Petit Paris is bursting with unique architecture and history. This massive restaurant seats 300, has not only one but two bars, and a large outdoor patio. On Friday, they are offering a four-course prix-fixe menu for $95 a person. Special desserts include “I Love You”, a heart of raspberry and passion mousse as well as “Forever”, a molten chocolate cake.

Estate Restaurant + Bar

Santa Monica

Our sister property, Estate, is the perfect option for those looking for a dinner with a variety of unique dishes from a farm-to-table menu. With modern decor and alluring lighting, this is a great spot for date night or a night out with friends. They are offering a three course prix-fixe menu for $75 a person. We recommend getting the Hawaiian Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare “Temari '' as an appetizer as the wasabi caviar is to die for.

71Above

Downtown LA

We recommend blasting “Views” in the car ride to dinner. Even though this is extremely upscale and on the higher side of our price range, the entire atmosphere and experience is worth it. After all, it is the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi (with 360º degrees of views). The three-course dinner for $82 a person celebrates their seasonal modern American cuisine. Our must-have recommendations for this menu include the Hamachi Crudo, Butternut Purée, and the Heritage Pork Loin.

Openaire

Koreatown

If you’re looking to be completely wowed by culinary expertise, look no further. Openaire was created in collaboration with two-star Michelin Chef Josiah Citrin. Located in the Line Hotel patio greenhouse, you and your date will be transported into a dreamy wonderland for the meal. Serving seasonal California fare, the Valentine’s Day menu is four courses at $99 a person. They are even offering Maine Lobster with pea agnolotti, asparagus, brown butter, and mint (if your mouth didn’t just hit the floor we are disappointed).

Fig & Olive

West Hollywood

With locations in Los Angeles, Newport, Chicago, D.C., NYC, and Houston, Fig & Olive definitely knows how to excel in a Valentine’s Day menu. Right on the corner of Melrose, their space is bright, airy, and sophisticated. The ambiance is incomparable for a special holiday. For Valentine’s Day, they are offering a four-course prix-fixe menu for $75 a person, including a delectable dessert tasting. You also cannot pass up on the Kabocha Squash Risotto with pumpkin seed, fried sage, and parmesan.
