Every Flower For Any Event: The LA Flower District
While planning your holiday parties, we know that ordering flowers sometimes can be the most stressful (and most expensive) part. Buying in bulk can become extremely pricey and we understand that you would want to allocate those funds in other areas. The Los Angeles Flower District is the perfect place to go find flowers for any occasion. Not to mention that visiting the Flower District turns into an all-day adventure.

The Los Angeles Flower District, located in the heart of DTLA near the Fashion District, is a wholesale market for flower growers, shippers, suppliers, wholesalers, distributors, designers, event planners, and retail florists. Basically, it is your go-to, trusty steed for flowers. Walking through the market you will be absolutely blown away by the selection of flowers and the aromas. A wide variety of colors, sizes, and types cover the entire space and will certainly have you mesmerized. If you really plan to make a day out of your visit to the Flower District, another great thing they offer is a Farmer’s Market, “The Wall”, on Saturday from 9 AM-2 PM.
With this epic space comes an epic list of vendors. To find a particular vendor, all you have to do is either download the PDF file online for each vendor location or pick up a map once you enter the district. There are so many to choose from (~200 wholesale dealers) so be prepared to make some tough decisions while picking out what you need.
Depending on the time of the year, vendors will have different types of flowers. This holiday season, major flowers to look out for are:
4. Ornamental Cabbage and Kale
5. Winter Jasmine
Besides the $2 admission fee Monday-Friday and the $1 admission fee Saturday, you are free to spend as little or as much as you want on any flower you need. By purchasing from wholesalers, you are saving a great amount of money rather than purchasing expensive arrangements with little diversity.
